We accept children who exhibit readiness for our Montessori program. NHMA admits students of any race, color, national, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. A child's admission will not be determined on the basis of academic skills, but rather on the child's ability to communicate, cooperate, and most importantly, the child's willingness to accept the mastering of new experiences.
Here are the steps involved in our admission process:
An initial interview with the Head of Montessori or Principal.
The child will either be invited to join the class or it will be suggested that he or she be phased in at a later date.
The child is admitted on a six-week trial basis.
After six weeks, a parent conference is held to discuss progress.
The following forms are needed at the beginning of every admission process:
Admission application form ($70 application fee)
Current immunization certificate
A completed Physicians form (medical information)
Child release form
